Detained ship with explosives may leave after another inspection
The "Whiskey Trio" which has been stopped by the Transport Agency in Varber may leave the port of Varberg on Jan 28 at the earliest.
The ship was detained due to a long list of security flaws which were discovered by Transport Agency inspectors who said they had not seen anything like this in years. T
He ship has now been surveyed by an inspector from a company that performs certification on behalf of Panama who stated that all the flaws hgave been corrected.
Transport Agency inspectors arrived in the morning of Jan 28 for their own survey.
If everything is found in order, the "Whiskey Trio" may leave Varberg.
The ship is loaded with 13 containers filled with explosive material.
Owner, Burcin Tunc in an interview confessed he did not know what the cargo was, just that it was legal. He would not ask about things.
First the ship loaded five to eight eight containers in Sheerness, and in Varberg it loaded on two or three more. Next the vessel should proceed to Germany, Belgium and France, and pick up more containers, all being destined for Montenegro.
