Inland storage vessel M/T Alpsray exploded

the German inland tank m/v "Alpsray", 1125 ts (ENI-No.: 04008570; built 1954) exploded in the night of Mar 29 at the BP refinery Lingen. The ship had 900 tons super benzol on board. The vessel sank after various explosions at a water depth of 3,5 metres. The accident happended during loading works. Large amounts of oil leaked out. The crew of 5 was saved .The fire rescue meanwhile got the blaze under control.
