In the foremidday of Dec 6, at 11.45 a.m. a Belgian rescue helicopter recovered a fifth victim of the "Baltic Ace"-sinking at Noord-Hinder from the Northsea, leaving six missing. The body was taken to Rotterdam Airport. The "Arca" remained at the sinking site to guard ship traffic. The "Frans Naerebout" laid out wreck bouys. Two KNRM-boats and helicopters and planes from Belgium and the Netherlands continued the search. The "Corvus J" which had pariticipated in the search during the whole night proceeded to Flushing for surveys in the morning. Its crew of 12 was not injured.
